What do you mean by a "Mock test"?

He means practice questions so he knows whether or not to study or what to study for.

What state? Each one will have different tests. Try checking your state/province dmv website. You can usually find them easily by doing a google or ask.com search. Also give a search engine a try for the "practice questions" or "practice test questions".

At my state DMV website, they had a sample test that I took over and over again. Some of the questions actually showed up on the actual permit test.

Permit test in VA was only 20 questions so it was a piece of cake

No need to be scared. If it was as easy as mine, then you'll have no problems at all.

In Illinois the written test is only 15 questions. I studied the sample quesiotns (4 to 5 times)and read the booklet 3 x's and scored 13 out of 15. That's pass here.

If you do the same in your state, I'm sure you'll pass the written. How many times to review is determined by you. I did it till I could answer the questions (out of order) as fast as I could read the quesitons.

The only problem might be anxiety but that should be it.
