congrats!

now go get the rest of your gear.

i'd like to emphasize gloves since your hand will be the most likely to hit the ground 1st if you crash.

That's cool. I have a a '95 ninja 250 as well. Soon to be "use to" though. I'm selling it and getting a 2007 ZZR600. Should be a fun ride. Anyway, you'll have lots of fun on that 250, and it will teach some good things.

VERY COOL! I haven't ridden the '95, but the '06 feels smooth and very nice.

Since your's is broken in, you probably only need to do some tune ups etc.

You should consider a nice jacket, gloves, and especially boots. I cannot stress enough how important those are. You don't need riding boots per se, but when I went down, I had em and I am confident they saved my ankles from getting crushed (noticed very significant rash on the boots over the ankle areas). Pants are so-so, it's up to you and your budget.

Enjoy the ride and hope you have fun.

P.S. After you get comfortagble, you should pick up a book like Sport Riding Techniques. I personally think its a very clear and concise book. CHEERS! :jump:

The more time I read this forum the more I find myself wanting a Ninja 250. Last spring I let one get away, I could have purchaced it, it was a 2004 in new condition for $2K.
