How fast was the ticket actually for?
90... I thought I mentioned that?

sorry

The cop was on the other side of the guardrail traveling toward us. He didn't gun my dad at that speed, he just guessed. He asked my dad how fast he thinks he was going. My dad said, 80. The cop laughed and said no way, you must have been going 100 at least. My dad was like really? I don't think so. Then the cop said I'll tell you what... I'll write it up for 90 so you don't lose your license, and I won't tow the bike.

Before he left he goes: "You don't want to set that kind of an example for your son do you?" He turned to me and said: "be careful son, i believe these things could go 170."

I gave him a strange face and said no way.
We got off real easy, he was a nice guy.

How do you know the bike did 165 if you weren't riding it?
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

This can't be. Tomorrow I'm going on it, and my dad is going to drive his car (bmw x5) next to me and were going to see if the speedo is wrong.
errr......how sure are you that the cage's speedo is accurate?
Always ask why.

Anthony. your posts are humorous. and if you're not intending them to be so, just be careful my man. you have a serious machine down there between your legs. it aint a toy. and you have NOTHING to prove to ayone here. It's OK to be young and fearless. I was too and did some crazy stuff. I look back on it differently now that I'm a bit older.

rock n roll
Hal
Thanks,
Hal
