I'd prioritize fit and protection over everything else. If you can actually try out that Alomar jacket and see for yourself that it fits well and has good quality material, stitching, and armour, then fine. Otherwise, it's a pointless compromise.

Try a little test mate

take your shirt off and run as fast as you can and then throw yourself onto the tar,

if you find that your skin did not come off and that it resisted the abrasion, then buy what you like. If you found your skin did indeed come off and that you bled a little, then just imagine what would happen if you increased the speed a bit.

If you ride, buy the best protection that you can afford right now. I would rather wear someone's smell cast off leathers than fad or fashion jacket.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

Ya, armor is number one. Two would be comfort.. You sure as heck don't want to feel uncomfortable. Three would be how cool it is.. like you don't want to sweat to death..lol... I have been thinking of getting a mesh jacket, armor is removable, comes is a variety of colors. I am looking at www.leatherup.com for a jacket..
