I just recently bought a 1983 Magna v45 as my first bike and have been having a hard time finding the owner's manual for it (though I've found tons of shop manuals). I did however find the owners manual on PDF for the 1983-1986 V65 Magna. I was just wondering if it would be close enough to function, and if not if anyone knows where I can find a free version of the v45 manual? Mostly I need it for maintenance guides and fluid level locations.

I found a couple of Owner's Manuals for sale on eBay for $15.

There is also one for an 82 Magna on Amazon for $30.

Service manuals often have the same info plus a whole lot more. If I had to choose one or the other I'd go with the service manual.
