in search of 1980s muscle bike wisdom!

Soo, I've been riding motorcycles for several years so I'm not a newbie but I've only ridden light weight dual sport enduros.
I've always wanted to get into street bikes and I'm finally gonna buy one.
I want an early 80s 4 cylinder witch I'm already familiar with working on, but there big heavy bikes and I'm a small guy at 5'8" 150lbs, its not like I cant ride a big XS1100 cruiser but whats the best possible model for me?
