It hurts

#102 Unread post by -Holiday »

Feel my pain.

Since coming back from my cross country trip, I havnt been on a bike, except for some short jaunts one day on my old Honda Cb360, which my ex now uses to get to work.

Keep in mind I commuted every day, ran every errand, went to work, visited friends, all on my bike, up until I left it in san Diego 2.5 weeks ago.

Now, I dont know if I have the vacation time this year to go back and get my bike.

So Im going to buy a new one. But I wont be able to afford it for another few weeks.

So it hurts. I drive my Jeep Grand Cherokee every day. The most boring vehicle ever conceived by man. My heart aches whenever I pass any person on a motorcycle. The weather has been beautiful ever since I got back, which makes it even worse.

uhg.

moan

groan

"dog"

ok, i'm done now. I'm going to go dream about the days I used to have, on those beautiful two wheels...and cry.

p.s. i'm looking into becoming an MSF inistructor here in PA next spring.
just thought I'd share.

I suppose you could have the bike shipped back, but maybe that would take the fun out of getting a new bike!

Where in the Phili area are you?

I must disagree. The Jeep Grand Cherokee can be flogged mercilessly through the woods in pursuit of ever-deeper ruts full of mud and black flies -- while listening to Vivaldi on the XM radio and maintaining a steady 68.2 degrees Fahrenheit for the driver and 78.9 degrees for the passenger. Not boring.

MY car is boring. 1984 Ford LTD Crown Victoria. :boat: When I want to change direction I have to file a form with the Dept. of the Navy.

i'm sorry, but riding around on the street in a stock WJ is boring, after wheeling in this http://www.bustedgroove.com/images/medium_jeep_4.jpg for 4 years.

Dont get me wrong, they are good vehicles. I just miss two wheels.

not really worth it, considering I paid like $1200 for the bike itself.

oh and, I technically live in the city limits, in Manayunk right now, but Im currently trying to get out of a lease and I'm not sure where i'm going exactly. I'm from Chester County, West Chester area originally.

Fair enough.

Until the engine blew a rod out of the oilpan, I used to drive this:
