I must disagree. The Jeep Grand Cherokee can be flogged mercilessly through the woods in pursuit of ever-deeper ruts full of mud and black flies -- while listening to Vivaldi on the XM radio and maintaining a steady 68.2 degrees Fahrenheit for the driver and 78.9 degrees for the passenger. Not boring. The most boring vehicle ever conceived by man.
i'm sorry, but riding around on the street in a stock WJ is boring, after wheeling in this http://www.bustedgroove.com/images/medium_jeep_4.jpg for 4 years.noodlenoggin wrote:I must disagree. MY car is boring. 1984 Ford LTD Crown Victoria. When I want to change direction I have to file a form with the Dept. of the Navy.
not really worth it, considering I paid like $1200 for the bike itself.Andrew78108 wrote:I suppose you could have the bike shipped back, but maybe that would take the fun out of getting a new bike!

Where are you buying your new bike? I couldn't find where you are gonna purchase it...out here in california? if so, let me know. I'd like to try to meet up with ya.
That's really funny - my SO has a scooter and has been following his trips and we were just talking about him last night. Hope you had fun!-Holiday wrote:So there is this guy riding his 150CC scooter cross country, who was passing through Philly last night, and my scooter club wanted to give im a warm welcome. So basically, I was up until 3am entertaining this dude, riding all around the city, hookers and blow, that kind of thing.
Normally I commute on the bike 21 miles to work every day, but today I was just too tired, and didnt want to be half asleep on the bike cruising down the highway. Or Maybe i was just too lazy to put all my gear on this morning, especially since I was running late to work.
I think this is why I could never fully convert to having a bike as my ONLY means of transportation.
So, if anyone is interested in readying about PJ's cross country tour, check out his website:
