thanks man, im glad to be back!

i went night riding... practiced some 4K rpm take offs, and practiced some clutchless shifting.

my mechanic taught me a good technique... he said to just apply pressure on the shifter and then once i release the throttle from accelerating, it'll kick in to gear. IT WORKED!

i also did ok on my 4K rpm take offs. not yet perfect but it's ok... some other person who has a 750 said he can do it at 8K and still keep the front down. but i'll wait until i get better before i try 8K take offs.

and damn! i can't speed at night! my eyes aren't as good as they used to be a couple of years ago.

i have 451 miles now. i'll probably get it to 600 tomorrow and then have the 1st maintenance done by saturday.

and damn it! where's my TRE!

it should be here by now, i ordered it last week.

Remove the english "Heaven" and "Sky". It ruins the effect.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

A tinted visor is the same as a clear one? Thats just not true. I have a tinted & clear visor, there is a HUGE difference. If you cant see any difference your visor must be extremely light.

Based on your pics the visor you wear is very dark.

i had a lot of twisty time today... i went back to topanga canyon. i think i improved. i was smoother this day. not that im very smooth to begin with but i improved.

i had some close calls...

note to self: don't try to pass big trucks unless the road is straight on 1-way canyons.

whew! that was close.

also, my bike is almost broken in. i just a need a couple more miles to reach 600.

i like how im gonna get 600 miles in 2 weeks compared to my 1st bike which i got 600 miles in 2 months.

They stole your helmet too??

Seriously what is happening with that theft report? Or did the cops pretty much just give it up for loss? I'm sure the bike is in parts all over ebay and sold weeks ago but it sure would be nice to catch the guys.

the helmet was w/ the bike and my gloves was inside the helmet. my TRE and rimstripes were also there along w/ a bunch of paperwork.

i had to change our garage door code since my remotes are on the bike as well.

anyway... now, i don't leave any important papers on the bike. plus, i don't really leave the bike since i almost never use it to commute nowadays.

i had my 1st maintenance done so the bike is already broken in.

my mechanic checked everything and he said the bike is fine.

also, i had modded mt exhaust valve like before so now it's louder and also, i gained probably around 3hp along w/ it.

the bike feels a little stronger after the oil change and the valve mod. :D

tomorrow, i'll be doing a 250 mile trip. i'll come along w/ my mechanic, his girlfriend and a bunch of other riders. we'll probably be around 15 riders he said.

and it's ok he says since his girlfriend isn't very fast either so he said it's fine even if im not yet very experienced.

and also he's gonna be riding a CBR600RR that he intends to sell so he said he won't be too daring w/ it.
