It did storm throughout Utah on Mother's day weekend in Utah , there were some localized damages from breaking tree branches and what not . Nothing serious .

Great pics, how was the riding through Kanab? That's on my list...

What part of Utah are you in? I'm in Northern Utah, the Davis/Weber/Cache county area.

If you live in Utah and ride a bike , I heartily recommend doing the 89 from Richfield to Kanab ! Plenty of places to stop, stretch your legs , get fuel and sightsee along the way ! I crossed over to the 89 Via the I-70 a day after the storm and it was,,, COLD at 9000 feet elevation across the pass !! a beautiful ride in itself , and you could stop on top and visit the Freemont Indian Historic site the too !

I used to live in Central Utah , but am now in Phoenix AZ for the last 25 years .

Who said you can never go back Home ?!? I blew a front fork seal on the way back , but the parts are shipped and will have a new front end soon.

If you ever find yourself in Kanab , a great , and economical place to stay is the "Travellers Inn" , a Sweetheart of a lady operates the place , Biker Friendly !

Bryce , Arches and Zions are all close by as well , which I have never done on a bike , but just might !
