Attention Edmonton Riders!

#1 Unread post by ElChado87 »

Hey All!
I've been scouring the site since I joined for some kind of "Get Togethers" section to no avail. So I present option "B" I am looking for people to ride with on a regular/random basis, mostly just for the fun of riding in a group, or perhaps some local sightseeing or event-going. :bounce2:
I was thinking of having some sort of rotating duty cycle, where this week it's up to you or them to choose times, places, events etc. so that no single person is left with the seemingly daunting responsibility of organizing something every week; or even just having an online vote or consensus as to what to do this week or that week.
So to any locals interested, or out-of-towners coming into town, give a shout and lets see what we can get going!

EC - So you're gonna take this on hey? :D Excellent!

We started using this link last season but we've all been a bit busy this year.

I didn't answer your poll because we had both random & scheduled and it worked quite well: kind of a regular Sunday breakfast then ride thing happening and random rides other times by sending emails to our group.
Ya right, there are only 2 kinds of bikes: It's a Ninja... look that one's a Harley... oh there's a Ninja... Harley...Ninja...

Try the Alberta Northern Stars....they have lots of rides. You can find them in Delphi.

I'd go.

Last year, I was organizer for the year ;) I just don't have the strength or the time to do it again this year. But I'd be up for next season ;). Hit me up if you ever want to ride though.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

What's left to do? I might be able to lend a wrench ;)

Hahaha... I would love a lent wrench, but this one is getting handled by the insurance companies, we kinda slid into the back of car, so it might be awhile, its only been a week, and I'm dying already! That bike is everything to me, since I don't have insurance on my cars....
