Sport horses... cross country jumpers (3-day eventing), show jumpers, foxhunters.

Ahh, okay. I kinda thought most horses are sporty horses, except for the ones that skid wood, pull plows, wagons, that sort of thing--and that's pretty rare nowadays.

I personally like the name "Black Mary" , a reference to the book "The Secret Life of Bees".

^I really expected you to say "Scarlet!" But the combination of Ruby & Scarlet has a definite charm. 8)

Oh, and um, my new bike's name is not very motorcycle culture-like. It's Blossom. I can't help it, that's her name! Came to me on the test ride. I've tried to change it, but it seems to suit her. I think it is because of that bloomin' red gas tank & cowling, and because she's going to help me blossom as a rider. At least, I hope she does.

LADIES - Have you named your bike?

Hello everyone. I finally got my bike. 20 years later than I wanted. I have a 1996 ZX6R. It's green and Alpine white with white seats (looks MUCH better than black). I don't have a name for it yet. One of my friends suggested "Mistress". Nothing comes to mind. She's bright, she's LOUD and she's MINE!!

Hubby has a 1984 Venture Royale we call "The Starship Enterprise". LMAOOOOOOOOOO

I named mine Rusty. Rusty Racer. Or Racer Rusty. Or Rusty the Racer. You get the point. :-)

She was a little on the neglected side when I picked her up.
