LADIES - Bought a new bike today!
I had a Vulcan 500, but felt it wasn't what I really wanted. I have been wanting a Vulcan 900 Classic for a while. I had gone a few weeks ago and sat on one, but felt like it was a little big for my 5 ft. 1 in frame. I felt a little sad, because I really wanted one.
Well I thought about it, and today I went and said the he** with it, and I traded my 500 for it!
I am so excited! I took it out on a short little ride tonight, and I LOVE IT!!!!!
I am so glad I took the plunge. This bike is WAY different, and exactly what I wanted in a cruiser. It looks and sounds like a real cruiser.
The 500 sounds too much like a sport bike for me.
This bike is a dark blue metalic color. It's beautiful, and I already named her "Bad Blue". YIPPPEEEEE!!!!

I actually live in New Port Richey. It's Central Florida. It is about 25 miles north of Tampa.Sweet Tooth wrote:

Thanks for your messages. I just came back from a 60 mile ride, and all I can say is SWEEEEEET!!!!
I am in LOVE!
I am so completely happy with this bike. I find myself day dreaming about my next ride. I feel like a little kid again!
Hubby says it looks real nice, and he wants to ride it to work sometime. I told him if he does i'll break his legs! LOL!
I will post a pic some time in the near future. I start my MSF class with my oldest son on Wednesday, and have to finish on Saturday and Sunday, so no time this week. I have my permit, but can't wait to get my endorsment.
For Memorial Day weekend we're going to St. Augustine. Myself, Hubby and 2 sons. That should be a beautiful trip.
Anyway when I get a chance I'll post a pic of hubby's and mine together. They make an awesome pair.
Amy

Congratulations!!
I had the same initial feeling as you (regarding ergos mostly) when I moved up from my Shadow 1100 to my Mean Streak. But I loved the Mean Streak so much, I just knew that it had to be for me. Sure enough - in not too much time I adjusted quite nicely to the size difference.
Glad you're already getting along nicely with your new ride. Pics please!!
Cheers,
Loonette
