helmets

#1 Unread post by daglin »

Hi Ladies,

I'm new to this forum.

I ride on the back of my husband's Goldwing and love it.

I am however experiencing wind problems with my helmet.( 3/4 helmet with a face shield) The wind at highway speeds just seems to funnel right up my nose, and I feel like Mrs. Boggle head.

I am considering purchasing one of the flip-type helmets. They all seem to advertise less wind noise, etc.

Any advice??

It would be quieter than the 3/4. I wore one to try it out and it was better than my open face helmet but not quite as good as my full face helmet.

If you wear glasses, the flip style is better than the full face. It's a pain to get glasses on and off with my full face.
