First of all.......:welcome: to TMW.

We hope you enjoy the forums. :)

As for getting an image up.....You need an online photo place such as photobucket, imageshack or tinypic., etc. They are free.
You can upload pics from your computer to your online site and then they can be linked to here.

Look up above the post and you will see the 2 buttons on the right. You can use button to show the pic.....or to make a link.

I hope that helps. :)

Hi Kymford

I'm not familiar with the slang term, "Dear". Does that mean useful, expensive or nicely petite? LOL.

PICS ( I hope)

Thanks for the help. Here are pics of my first bike and my current bike. They are the same year, but the white one is the V-star 650 and the black one is the V-star 1100. I loved the 650, but needed a lttle more power for the "long-haul" rides. Now if I can get the resizing down, I'll have it.

The white sure does look good. I bet you'll notice a more relaxed ride with the bigger bike.

The resizing you did is fine. The pics are a good size.

I really liked the white. When the weather clears, I'll get a good pic of the black one. I'm okay with the power and love the ape-hangers. I was afraid they would be too high, but they're perfect. No more leaning forward to reach the handle bars or leaning to see the mirrors. I'm ready to cruise. We have a poker run this weekend and another one next weekend. The first long ride I'll go on with this bike will be to Eureka Springs Memorial Day weekend. We'll be going from East of Oklahoma Cty to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It's about a 6 - 8 hour ride. Did it last year on the 650 so I'm looking forward to making the ride on the 1100.

Beautiful Winifred, absolutely stunning!

And SanNYC, it means expensive and it is also an indearing term like darling or honey, but i was meaning expensive in that context. I love the little differences in Languages, it is always interesting.

I started riding in April 2005 with a 2002 Honda shadow 650 with 4500 miles put on the bike, then in Nov 2005 purchased a 2003 Suzuki Intruder VL1500, I have put on 18,000 miles since then...

First you need to upload the picture to a web hosting site like tinypic.com or Photobucket. When you upload the picture the site will give you a url that looks like http://i25.tinypic.com/23jk45i.jpg . Next you surround the url with the image tags so it looks like

Code: Select all

[IMG]http://i25.tinypic.com/23jk45i.jpg[/IMG]
After you hit submit the picture will show up.
