would you believe it!!!? a lady failed to give way to me yesterday when i was on my way to work and i hit the side of her car at 60ks or i think you guys would say 32mph which isn't fast fast but fast enough to write off my poor little bike.

I am more hurt over that than anything, dam dam dam, i just don't have the time to waste lying on the tarmac

Heres a pic. I will be riding the yamaha to work now. I will miss my lil honda!!

Wow... I'm really sorry to hear that! And yeah, that's fast enough to write it off... Glad you're ok though, that's what really counts right?
(Yeah, still doesn't take the sting out of it)
Don't you just hate it when other drivers don't find motorcycles worth stopping for?

Too bad about the bike.

But at least you are here to tell about it and you have a back up bike.

Thanks ladies. And wrider, i really think in Australia, a lot of people need to be educated a little more before getting their driving liscence. It needs to be a mandatory part of the test that people learn to look for bikes before leaving the intersection and so on.

And you are so right! me being here just isn't taking the sting out of the feeling that i may never ride my little blue honda again!

OMG Kymford, hitting something at 32mph sounds pretty hard core to me.

Did you get hurt?

I think that trumps me locking up the brake at 30 mph and finding myself trying to become One with the road... Are you ok, other than the hurt over your poor bike? And did you pull her hair and make her cry? I think she deserved that much...

I am sorry to hear that, but glad to hear you are ok (at least I assume so since you are not complaining about injuries but about your poor little Honda)

Will you be able to fix her up?

I must say, I don't think it is only Australian cage drivers that need awareness, it is everywhere!

OMG I like laughed my "O Ring" off at that website. I am sure if it was safe to do some riders would do it.
