I have only rode for 2 seasons now. The first year, I rode every day to work because there was free parking downtown. Last year they took away the free parking so I was down to only once a week or so.

I would like to ride more often, it just all depends on how busy I am.

Andrea :)

I ride pretty much year round. I usually have a nice long ride or two planned for weekends and I try to get out during the week when I can.

The bike is our only form of transport, so we are on it almost every day.

Which is great!

I ride as much as I possibly can. Scan and I take turns when the kids are around, and when they're in school and the weather is nice, we actually get to take in quite a few rides together. I also reserve a couple of weekends for short trips to visit friends. This year, however, I plan to do one trip that's a bit longer - hopefully with Scan along if my mom can come and stay with the kids.

Cheers,
Loonette

What do you mean "during the season"??? :D
I live in the panhandle of Florida and even though it gets cold in the winters (hey, it's cold to us) I bought some gloves that guys use on oil rigs in the Gulf and they have batterys that run lines of heat down the fingers

I rode all fall and winter except on the frosty/icy days. I was determined to get in as much practice as possible to get licensed quickly, thus being a good rider by the "riding season". A lot of people around here thought I was nuts with all the riding in the rain I did, but I sure did gain a lot of experience.
Besides, why own rain gear if I'm not going to use it?

Admittedly, I sure had to wash my bike a lot, though. On the bright side, I feel confident I could now go on some group rides. If I had waited for good weather, I'd still have my learner's permit.
