I am a new rider and I love riding. Does anyone have suggestions on finding friends who are women to ride with. I have my husband, and 2 other friends so far. But alot of times I wanna go out & no one is available. I like riding with others. It is more fun & I think safer in packs. I am in the knoxville area of Tennessee. Any suggestions????

There's a Women in the Wind chapter in Tennessee. It's on the other side from you but there might be ladies in your area that are members. :D

thanks

Is there any bike nites or bike runs in your area? Those are great places to meet other women on bikes.

Yes there are several.
I don't need a club to ride, but I do enjoy hooking
up with them every now and again.
Thank you for the warm welcome.

Upstate NY or Mid NC, as in North Carolina?? That's a bit of a spread. Are you a snowbird, or have a heckuva commute, or something? :humm:

Looking to Ride with Others

Suggestion: local dealership sponsoring group rides

There's one motorcycle dealership near me that is co-owned by wife-husband team. The wife is the manager and the husband focuses on customer service, i.e. free maintenance classes/seminars and weekend group rides. At least once a month he likes to coordinate a motorcycle or ATV ride. The dealership even springs for lunch and it's family oriented, i.e. they did a ride to a corn maze last Autumn.

I would consider it if my husband had to work on a weekend and the weather is great for riding.
