Be careful when considering shortening the pants. The armor is most likely going to be well below the knee then.

My g/f is currently sporting scorpion and finds their new stuff fits very well.

I love the look of the scorpion but they are too long....I could only fit in them in my fantasy world.
I did go to the fabric store, but they dont carry the right material.

Is there an outdoor fabric store where you are? We have on here called Outdoor Innovations....they sell ballistic nylon......and other assorted things like buckles, reflective striping, waterproof breathable material and seam tape........
Perhaps you can find some online????

It would probably be easiest to buy some pants that fit and just go have them shortened to your length.
I have the opposite problem......most are too short.....and then when I sit on the bike, the knee pads are not over my knees....they ride up to sit over the lower part of the thigh where it meets the knee.

People who design these things obviously think that every person is average.

Our company is in the process of getting us new uniforms.....most of us gals have to order the men's pants and a lot of order the men's shirts......

It's crazy the way the so called women's uniform selection fits.....
