Suzuki GZ 250

#1 Unread post by Deni4994 »

Does anybody out there know much about the Suzuki GZ250?
I read that it was rated # 7 & the honda rebel rated #11 on a site with reviews & ratings, was just wondering if anyone out there has one & how they like it...?

I took the MSF course on a GZ250...it had a low seat height (that mattered to me then, but not so much now) and was pretty comfortable.

The last time I took a good look at one, I thought the fit and finish were very good. Not very fast, but a great, comfortable and safe-feeling place to start learning!

The controls are decidedly forward on a GZ. And the brake pedal "rises up" as the brakes get worn. This observed on the "Range Bikes" at one of the BRC sites that uses them.

IMHO the Rebel is a better first motorcycle.

I have a Suzuki GZ250 and so far I love it! It's my first bike and for me a great choice.
