Downed Rider (Norristown, PA)

#1 Unread post by djspring »

Last night around 11:00 PM, the local news in my town reported a story of a speeding motorcycle (possibly racing another bike) where the female passenger fell off and was knocked into the river after connecting with the concrete wall. This morning, the news reported that her body was found in the early morning hours and I'm sorry to say that the young girl lost her life.

It really pains me to hear of downed bikers. So ladies, please pray for her family and remember to ride safe ~

Am sorry for her and hope they catch the two idiots that did this. I'm no lawyer but it sounds like vehicular manslaughter to me.

I saw that news piece before heading off to work that day. I cringed when I see passengers (girls in particular on the back of a sport bike) that aren't wearing any cycle gear, especially so now with the weather turning warmer.
