And when are you arriving... staying "nearby" or in the Resort area, which "section"

I'm with her....if I can get the damnable water pump replaced along with the head bearings on the Concours before the trip...otherwise I'll be there on the poor little Nighthawk....

Nuh-uh...that's a 100-mile tank and then you're pushing it. The filler for the tank is through the passenger seat. I'd have to unstrap my load every 100 miles, at 35 mpg. Fast and "cool," yes, but a road-burner, no....

The Honda gets 180miles per tank, the Concours gets 230 per tank. And Connie is soooooo comfy, mile after mile, day after day....

Water pump will be here Tuesday, I should be able to install it myself in a day. Bearings will probably take me two days 'cause I'm slow. I think Connie will go to CO! I love that bike....

I have to agree the Connie would be a more comfy ride and practical for you.

So it looks like you ladies will be arriving on the 18th, sounds good. Just what time? Because I may just keep an eye out and then ride up along side of you...I think I will be taking the ST so watch for a red one when you get to Co.

Figuring on late afternoon. Can't say beyond that... its a long trip.

On my way to the Conference in Athens, GA, I kept in touch with another gal via text message. She was traveling from Maryland, but left the morning after my daughter and I did.

It was cool to get text updates of her progress when I stopped.

We should exchange cell phone numbers! (That is those who have "unlimited texting" I suppose) - via PM.

I'm "hoping" to still come to the conference. I'll probably fly. My riding friend has some health problems and I told her I was concerned about this trip....She admitted that maybe a long road trip was going to be too much, so we're flying in.

We (or me) will arrive on the 18th.

Way to hang in there, Blues! I'd really like to meet you. Bummer about CC--hope she's okay. Maybe she'll still be able to make it by plane, too.

This is your chance to rent a Harley . . . I hear they also rent Hondas . . .
