Oh, I'm hitting the tail of the dragon in a few weeks. Just went to Suches and the Cherohala. What a blast!

I keep trying to ride Skyline Drive and The Blue Ridge Parkway (featuring the Linn Cove Viaduct ).

Since you're in Ohio, look into Rt. 6 that goes across the top of Pennsylvania. Though it's not a technically curvy road, its fast sweepers and gorgeous scenery make it a great motorcycle road. The route has its own web site www.paroute6.com

PA Route 6

Great resource! Thanks so much for posting the weblink. I'm going to enjoy making this a trip for next year.

Our next big trip [we'll tow the bikes] will be to the Florida Panhandle some time this winter. Ugh, it'll probably be a 2-day road trip before we get to our final destination, but we had a great time in September visiting on business and saw so many bikers. The roads are well maintained, traffic light, that we just had to come back with the bikes.

Ride safely!

Try looking for a riding group(s) that do the type of riding you would like to do. Often dealerships will have information on local groups of owners of specific brands. I belong to a national organization that has no brand affiliation and regional chapters all across the US. They have several organized rides every year at both the national and regional level. An additional resource would be forums like this one. Google the type of riding you would like to do (sportbike, touring, ect.) or the the brand you like best and add "forum" to it and see how many forums are out there. Most of them have sections for regional connections and ride planning. Just some ideas, I hope they help!

Hey, catnip! where are you in "NE Pa?" I'm not far from the PA line... come spring we could ride Rt 6, or whatever... maybe set up a "Ladies TMW Ride" weekend, etc.
