Or to find out about road trips from a woman's point of view.

For that reason it is good....

However....all are welcome.

I am not....an old lady though. :| Some women may not mind being referred to as an "old lady"....but I find it somewhat disrespectful; the way it is usually used.
Oh Sure! I can appreciate and understand that. I mean I would hope the men folk would steer clear of (what my sister and I call the Tampax Times) "girl time" just as they would expect women to steer clear of their male bonding moments.
(Not many men hang around after they hear the word Tampax. They just run away!)
But I don't see how a forum, such as this one or any other moderated and publicly contributed to, could be such a breeding ground for upset because a boy crossed into the girls line.

As for the woman's point of view, don't drag your face across asphalt. It sucks!
Bounce if you can but never on your head. That also sucks.
And if you ever get the chance to be in a nearly head on collision, apparently that's grounds to never ride again.
Well... that's what I keep being told LOL

I think it's time for louder pipes!

As for the "old lady"... No disrespect intended. It's what I grew up hearing. It was a pretty grand mark to be an old lady.

sunandmoonschilld...is that a portrait of you? It's good. It is intense and the picture makes want to know more. What are you thinking. Where are you looking.

That makes a good photo...when it draws you in and keeps you there.

Thanks! Yep that's me! I took that picture and sent it to my sister and said "Hey Look! Great hair day! Time for a ride to mess it up!"

This is the next picture she got six hours later that read "So much for the good hair day."
It's the day I got ran off the road by the distracted driver a month ago this Wednesday.

I have an abundance of character now I've been told. Greaaaaaaat... just what I needed... more character LOL

Actually Full Kudos to the ER team at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO for putting me back together. Hardly any scars except on my left elbow and right hand and still doing some therapy for a rotator cuff. And then even MORE kudos to my son and daughter for being so completely supportive of me riding again. Couldn't have gotten back up if they weren't there to dust me off! (Super proud mommy moment!!!)

Hey ladies, mind if I jump in? I wanted to say hello Twila and thanks for sharing your photos and crash story. I'm always glad to hear you are recovering well!

I don't mind the men hanging out here, it makes it fun that's for sure! Notice since you mentioned the T word they have all disappeared?????

Crack me up. Yepper. Most of them ran away since the "T" word.

Yes. I took the photo. I love photography also. The moon in all her majestic splendor is one of my favorite subjects. So mysterious and playful she can be peeking out from her velvet curtain of midnight blue as she pours her approval upon the lovers in cascading light....

ok back to work before I remember that I'm stuck here for the next 14 hours... ugggggggggh

Have a grand day all!!!
