New Ol Lady needs advice

#1 Unread post by Shoot2live »

Hi Ladies,

I'm still new to the bike culture. I don't ride, but my husband wears a patch.

Today, while browsing through Facebook, I came across 2 photos of another female sitting on my husband's bike. I don't know if he was there at the time, since his brother often borrows the bike. But, the moment I saw these pictures, I felt like  :shooting:.

I haven't spoken to my husband about it yet because I don't know how to approach the topic without sounding jealous.

I'm not jealous; I feel completely disrespected. I know better than to touch a man's bike, especially if it's not my husband's bike. However, this chick not only touched my husband's bike, but she posted pictures on social media of her on it!
I've stopped myself several times already from sending her a message putting her in place and demanding she remove the pictures.

To avoid going over the top, I decided to join a forum to seek advice on how to approach this.

No, no, I don't want that kind of drama. I want to be smart about it. Also, she has little kids, so I don't want her ending up in the hospital.

The only person you should confront about this is your husband.

If this isn't okay with you, you need to communicate that. If the relationship can't survive your right for respect, then that's a whole different issue. I don't think it's fair to assume the girl on the bike did anything wrong or had any malice. After all, have you wondered who took the pictures in the first place?

Talk to your husband. Tell him you're upset. He may not even know that this happened.

Why do you call yourself Ol Lady?

Aside from that, the pictures could be quite innocent. It's important to ask him calmly, not accusatory. There could be a perfectly harmless reason.
