Why do you ride

Why do you ride the bike you ride?

I myself am 5'4" and find some bikes, which I'd like to ride, a bit tall for me, but I am happy with what I have at the moment.

Hello Chels, I know I'm only the pillion, but Dave wouldnt have bought the bike if I didnt approve. I do Love our FZX 750, because its loads of fun and got plenty of Oomph and Growl to it.

Nothing wrong with being the Pillion, I still like being a passenger as well as riding. Would you ever consider trying to take the bars yourself?

The VTX is my dream bike. I love the styling, comfort and power this bike has. I had been dreaming (and drooling) over this bike for over a year before I stepped up from my ACE. The more I ride it, the more I love it.

Chels I would love to take bars myself, I've got the confidence but I havent got the pennies. On disability benefits, can only afford to run 1 bike, but fortunate enough to be able to do that. When I win the lottery lol, that will be top of my shopping list!

I ride a 1981 Honda CB400T. First and foremost, it was affordable for me. But there were many other reasons for choosing it:

-small & light
-comfortable
-cheap, so if I hated riding or crashed it I wouldn't feel too guilty
-my hubby owned one previously so he knew all the ins and outs
-it was one of the only <500cc bikes available at the time
-it was a good bargain

Okay, that's enough........

It took trying out four bikes in a little over a year, but finally, I have my bike. It's perfect for me.

Cheers,
