I love how the girl in the last picture is completely decked out in appropriate riding gear :P

Looks like fun! A few guys from our riding club are there right now (one rode his CBR from Birmingham, AL to Laguna Seca. ouch!)

Maybe someday I'll make it over there.

Go Nicky...and Colin!

I was close to calling it! If Rossi's bike didn't blow up I'd have called the podium (although Rossi and Pedrosa would have been switched), as it was I was still close!

Not bad. :P I wasn't all that far off either....if Rossis bike didn't blow up; if Kenny wouldn't have gone in reverse; if it wouldn't have been so hot; if Vermuelens umbrella girl wouldn't have been so distracting...

Aw, who cares! Hayden won and stretched out his lead. It's about time someone besides the Doctor had a chance at the championship.

I think Hayden's win last year at Laguna Seca was just the confidence booster he needed. He's obviously been the man to watch this year, with 9 podium finishes in the first 11 races, making him the current points leader.

I'm glad Nicky is doing so well, and not just becuse he and I are both Americans. Heck, I'm a Yamaha fan. I should be pulling for Rossi. But he's been winning so easily for so long that the second place spot began to hold more excitement. It was time for a new contender.

Mr. Hayden, the Kentucky kid - may you dethrone the doctor this year!

By the way, Bruce - It was great to meet you last year! I hope we can sit in the same spot again sometime, watching yet another Moto GP race. 8)

Nope. A couple of friends were over for race day and that is the plan that was hatched. Now it's just a matter of finding the money :?
