Rossi wins the Monza Rally

#1 Unread post by Rydr »

The Doctor shows that not only is he very proficient on the Moto GP circuit but also on the world rally circuit with an 11th place finish in the New Zealand rally as a privateer driver and now a win at the Monza Rally with Team Subaru, against some of the best rally drivers in the world. Rossi has his critics but with his motorcycle racing abilities, the fact that Ferrari would like him to drive F1 for them and now his abilities at on the world rally car circuit I must say that he is one of if not the most talented motor sport race driver of the present time.

vid from NZ:

and good quote from Subaru press re NZ:

"Driving a Formula One Ferrari is easier than a Subaru World Rally Car according to Valentino Rossi, the seven times World Motorcycling Champion who is the superstar of this year's Hamilton based Rally of New Zealand. "

http://www.subaru.co.nz/Rally_News_Resu ... rticle=986

and Rossi's blurb on the Monza Rally:

http://www.rossifiles.com/2006/rossi-ta ... y-victory/

"It was about time I won this event since I’ve tried for the past 10 years,” Rossi told Gazzetta Dello Sport."
"Zounds! Zorched by Zarches, Spaceman Spiff's crippled craft crashes on planet Plootarg!"

For Sale: Ninja 600 with parts bike, needs minor work, $30, no title... (GEE THAT DOESNT RING ANY WARNING BELLS DOES IT?)
