If you want to see some horrible photos and stories about crashes.. EDIT: WEBSITE DELETED By Mod. - there is more than you'd ever want ( I hope ) there. I don't care for the gore, but I read it for the statistics/stories. I figured if I'm going to read everyone being all excited about getting into bikes, I should read the other side as well.

Still going to do it though. I just took 1k away from my bike fund and put it into a gear fund.

Often those that throw 'helpful' comments about riders gearing up haven't the faintest idea how much 'love and caress' the tarmac gives a rider in a fall. I rather spent $ on replacing gears then to suffer pain and agony waiting for my skin to grow back.
