im now a proud owner of GSX-R750 K6 maroon/black.

i installed lojack from the dealer and i bought GAP.

made $2000 down. my interest rate is 12.(something)%

it actually looks good from personal compared to the pictures so i decided to screw gear and bike matching colors and just go w/ a bike that offers a great balance between maneuverability and power.

i don't have the bike yet. i had it delivered to my mechanic to do the usual stuff.

so monday, i'll have it insured and then i'll ride again just in time for my bday this coming 15th.

hope to see some of you guys on the road soon. :D

lojack was $895.

but i'll get good discount on insurance for it so it will pay off itself after a while.

also, since the 750 has the cool short exhaust, i had the rear sets removed and it looks SWEET!

i don't care about passengers right now plus i can always re-connect the pegs if i want to in the future.

i'll get pics once i get it back from the shop.

Smooth bike! I like the new style of the 06 GSXR. There is a really good article in this month’s Motorcyclist comparing the GSXR 750 with all of the 600 bikes (CBR, R6, GSRX6, and Triumph 675). Looking forward to the pics…

hehe...

yeah but w/o the rear fender and pegs, reflectors, warning lables, and hopefully if my mechanic can figure it out, it will run reverse shift.

also, it will have frame sliders of course.

about the shifter... he said the shifter doesn't look the same as previous gixxers so he'll see if he can figure it out.

I like everything but that nasty plate holder :P. Undertail is in order methinks . Stubby/almost non-existent exhaust FTW!!! Stock it looks clean, can't wait for the pics. FWIW it looks better than the 1k. Glad to see you "downgraded" :bigok:
