Triumph 675

Has anyone ridden the Triumph 675 yet? If you own one, I’d love to see some pics. I love the look of the bike and the stats seem like they’re all in line, but when it comes to sportbikes the Big 4 seem to have a solid track history. I would be apprehensive about buying a 675 because as far as I can tell Triumph hasn’t been making bikes worthy of 600 class comparison for too many years. I would love to hear everyone’s insight on this bike. Is it worthy of the 600 class comparison against the Big 4? I think I might need to test ride one of these...

It's been praised as having the torque of a twin and the horsepower of a 4 popper. I think it's one of the nicest looking bikes out there. A lot of the moto mags have reviewed it, maybe http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/ has a review on it.

Motorcyclist magazine just did a comparison of all the 2006 middleweight sportbikes, in the current issue I believe. Can't miss it, all the bikes are on the cover. Their test was done a little differently (read the article), but the new Daytona won out. It's peformance numbers are right in line with all the japanese rides.

If I didn't feel like a monkey &*$%ing a football when I sat on a sporty, I'd probably own one.

I really don't put much stock in magazine/online comparisons, but EVERY "supersport shootout" I've seen so far has had this as their top pick (all 3 of them...so it's not alot).

Here's the Motorcycle USA article. Also check out Motor Cyclist magazine's article.

http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/Article_P ... 301&Page=1

That article cracks me up. The chief editor (or someone like that) rode all the bikes and liked the Triumph so much he went out and bought one as soon as the test was done.

The bike is gorgeous, I've sat on one but havn't ridden it yet.

It won't have a good "track record" because it falls dead in the center of the two different classes (600cc & 750cc for WERA) but that won't stop it from being an incredible bike!

Being bikeless SUCKS!!!

That's one sexy a$$ bike. I'd love to have one as my next bike, but I think it's a bit too tall for me... :|
