We pay in Ontario Canada...

$1.10 CAD for One Litre
which works out to be $3.72 USD per gallon
There would be a really cool signature thingy here if I could figure out how to make one.

Thats higher than the USA average. I would think it'd be less cuz Canada has alot of oil. The US average is around $2.90 a gallon.

I had forgotten about this thread. Prolly the best thread I've been involved in. I was eagerly awaiting flynriders equations & graphs too.

There's actually an element of truth in that. There isn't a crisis the industry is using that as an excuse. The new movie "Syriana" demonstrates this nicely.

The oil industry is about maximizing the profit of oil until it does run out. And selling oil below a price point that will discourage the devolpment & use of alternative fuels.

When will oil finally run out no one knows.

I remember reading that if we continue to use as much fossil fuel as we do, we will run out in 50 years. But I have no idea how they could know that. How are they supposed to know how large the current oil deposits are? Ultrasound maybe, but I dunno for sure...
