'78 GL-1000 head bolt torque specs

#1 Unread post by nightowl »

I am replacing the head gaskets on my bike. It is a 1978 GL-1000 Gold Wing, and came to find out my ex-wife has burned over a hundred of my shop manuals when I was out on the road. Does anyone have these specs, so I can get the bike back together?

Thanks in advance,
Matt

Yes tuesday would be great, I will not be off work to be able to change them till thursday. So that will give me enough time to be sure I have everything I need.
Thanks,
Matt

The six 10mm bolts are 38 -41 ft.lbs.
The single 6mm bolt is 84 - 120 in.lbs. so roughly 7 - 10 ft.lbs.
Tighten in a crisscross pattern.
