I ride simply for pleasure/fun... riding in the rain just isn't fun for me so if it's crappy out or a big chance of rain I just don't ride. I have gotten stuck in the rain a bunch of times and keep rain gear with me just in case (my desk drawer at work and in my tailbag)... but I do not ride in the rain on purpose.
i'll ride in pretty much any weather above 0 Celcius, but like most people i prefer not to.

Like others have already mentioned I don't go out while it's raining, if I get caught in it so be it, but it's not fun. Otherwise I don't have a problem riding on wet streets, the second day of my MSF course was on a wet track right after a torrential down pour...
Would I look at someone crazy for riding while it's raining? not really, just keep your rain gear handy and keep it safe.
My main problem with riding in the rain is the visiblity... on motorcycles drivers already don't see us.. with the added loss of visibility it incrases the chances they won't see us. Not to mention the dipsticks who don't pay attention then find themselves sliding to a stop at a red light.
If I had raingear I would ride in the rain but since I dont, I usually avoid it if its convenient to do so.
