Well, it's funny now (sort of) so now I can talk (rant!) about it.

Saturday was gorgeous out - sunny warm, breezy, about 26C. I headed out (although a tad late) to a special k-class at a southside campus. Really had to boot 'er to get there... :D . Anyhow, into the parking lot and I backed the bike into this nice shady spot, shaded by the building and trees. It was...2:30 pm.

Came out at 5:30 and c**p! The side stand on the bike was imbedded into what I thought was a solid parking lot! After a major heart failure, I quickly hauled it out of that hole and even had some concerned classmates helping out. I was so freaked that we basically ended up lifting the bike with the front forks still locked and the disc lock shrieking at us. HUGE sigh of relief...no harm done and the bike had not toppled. Any later and I would NOT have been happy! Everyone looking at the lot and spaces (including the guy on his heavy Harley) even said the friggin lot looked solid. No apparent reason for that sink hole! How deceptive! I stuck my finger into it after and it was a good 1 to 1.5 inch depression.

Oh well, it could've been worse. Kind of funny in a stupid way now that I think about it...
My Lesson: never assume anything I guess
Ya right, there are only 2 kinds of bikes: It's a Ninja... look that one's a Harley... oh there's a Ninja... Harley...Ninja...

Better yet, a hockey puck. More abundant up in the frozen northland. ;)

I just buy a can of coke before I leave the bike. LoL
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

How about a coke can shaped like a foot as thick as a hockey puck?

Whats a special-K class? I don't suppose it has something to do with cereal.

 That's pretty good! Haha - nothing quite so amusing though. It was a karate class....

Your bike must get very thirsty  Do you at least pop the tab for it?
