carb help please?

#1 Unread post by swifty's revenge »

83 nighthawk 650

i have dissassembled and soaked each carb.
(reassembled as well)
i dont neccesarily know what im doing but am at least 90% sure i did everything right.

it runs ok except for above 6000 rpm, bogs out.

it will run up past that if i apply some choke, so it is leaning out i guess.

why oh why>? i have checked for vacuum leak and it looks tight,

could out of sync be doing this?

floats are non adjustable and looked ok. what else could it be?

thx

Make sure you did not pinch the slide diaphrams and that they open and close smoothly.
CHECK YOUR TIRE PRESSURE REGULARLY!!!
