I just ordered some

and a

both in black.

they're going to go on my:

which is eventually going to look something like this:

But anyway, this weekend: I have to fix my FJ because it decided to die on the side of the road and has been sitting for two days. Then im going to hopeffully fix the front brake on my Honda pictured above, and take it on its maiden voyage. Oh and, I'm also leading a group ride on the Vespa Rally, to scope out a location we might be riding to during our Rally:

That should sum up my two wheel plans for the weekend.

So what are you guys up to? Anyone going on any trips? Doing any cool mods? Anything?

yes, i'm bored today :)

Im riding out to Everglades National Park tomorrow weather permitting. Nice scennic ride, little traffic, open road. Leaving early around 7am...take advantage of the day. Can't wait!

Riding to and from work, in the rain.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I'm going to ride to get insurance and a tag for my new old Jeep I just bought. ( yes I have gone against everything I have stood for and bought a gas guzzeling SUV with a V8 )

And then I'm going to be broke the rest of the weekend, so I probably won't do anything.

If I don't veg out I'm going weld up a bracket for the GPS and maybe lay out the templates for some hard-sided aluminum luggage. Maybe even cut the aluminum and rivet it together... not sure...

Actually, this is a three day weekend for me. I'm taking the next few Mondays off... then taking another couple days to stretch the 4th weekend out... next weekend I'm hoping for a road trip... maybe go out to Arizona or up north along the coast.... same with the weekend after....

Those cafe racers are sweet looking. Make sure to take lots of pictures of the transformation!

Sadly, I'm doing nothing bike-related this weekend. Although I do have some plotting to do about modifications to my bike, while driving across the state for a friend's wedding.

I'll be thinking about my secret project instead of.... well, whatever the GF is talking about on the drive. Hooray!
