Signed up for my MSF today.
Finaly I did it. I signed up for my MSF course. Its in two weeks from now in Wisconsin.
Friday night is class room and then SAT and SUN are on the range from 9-2pm. Then thats it, your done. $260 including tax and you come out of it with a motorcycle licence.
My days of riding my Yamaha Zuma to work will soon be over.
It was much better value than the class the Harley Dealer does for over 300 plus tax.
Cant wait. I already have the money for my Suzuki GS500F.

congrats! I recently signed up for my MSF class as well but it sounds a bit different than yours. We have class from 6-10 on friday, then 7am-6pm sat, and 7am-6pm sunday...some of Sat and Sunday is classroom time but..
Good luck! I think I'm goin for a GS500F myself

This was my first bike. Actually this one is nicer than mine was.

Yeah good luck to you both and remember to have fun!
you will find that the msf class is worth every penny. at least i think it was. if you've done any independent reading you may find the classroom portion boring and even dumbed down quite a bit, but those first few hours on someone else's bike is really what you're paying for.
it's a good feeling when you get your spot reserved in the class and even better when you finish it. it's like "wow i've always wanted to do this except now i'm actually doing it."
where are you in wisconsin? i just moved away from madison last year.

Congrats and good luck to both of you. The course is well worth it and the GS500F is a nice, nimble, fun little bike. Treat it with respect and you'll have lots of fun on it.kellanv wrote:Good luck! I think I'm goin for a GS500F myself

Wow, lucky that you got in so fast. Around here most of the waiting lists are months long!
You're going to learn a lot, I thought my course was worth every penny. So remember, just keep your chin up, and look where you want to go.
You'll do great.

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
