nice article.

it still doesn't make wanna buy one though. i don't mind the low power but im just too stubborn to get past it's design.

i've said before and i'll say it again... if only the aprilia RS125 R is available here. i would have gotten one of those instead.

Really? You miss the power of your GSX-R1000, wish your GSX-R750 had more power down low, but you also wish you could have bought a sub-40HP 125cc bike instead?

You're a tough one to figure out.

:)
yeah, pretty much.

i wanted to get the lowest cc sportbike to build my skills but the lowest cc sportbike available here in the US is the 600cc. i was actually planning to buy one.

but i happen to come across the 750. then i got sold to the idea of getting a good balance between power and handling.

i don't consider the GS500, EX500, and EX250 to be sportbikes. they're more like standards w/ full fairings.

but yeah, i would have bought an aprilia RS125 R instead of a gixxer if i could. unless they cost more than $4000. i wouldn't buy a 125cc bike for more than $4000.

He's not a tough one to figure out... he is totally image obsessed. He buys what he buys (weapons, musical instruments, motorcycles...everything) based on what *they* can do in some abstract sense that mostly centers around "look cool" without any consideration for what he can do with them... nor for how he can reach a point where he will take full advantage of them.

Then he blathers endlessly about his posessions any chance he gets. Find a post of his that doesn't translate to "look what I own[ed]!"
Ride it like you think owning it matters.
