I already had a wireless router, so the two cameras were around $150 a piece. The software came with it.

Go to the hardware store and buy the heaviest chain they have, run it through both wheels and lock it to a part of the building. In addition to what you're already doing. Also covering the bike will help prevent impulse stealers.
If you can, park it in the house (seriously).

My wife would kill me if I tried to bring it in the house, aside from trying to heft a 500lb bike up the five steps on my front porch or up the 7 out of my basement. It's along the side of the house at the moment. I'd considered putting a shed in the back yard, big enough to pull the bike into, but that would mean I would be pushing it through dirt/grass/mud whenever I pull it out or put it away. I suppose that's better than getting it stolen, however.

There's really nothing along that side of the house to chain it to. Since I don't have a driveway and my neighbor has agreed to let me pull it through theirs to get to the walk along the house where I'm parking it now, I don't want to impose further by chaining it to their tree.

I do have a dog who makes a big ruckus anytime someone he doesn't know takes a walk along the house there.

I also have a couple of friends who would let me store it in their garage, that's the plan for winter at least. I don't want to keep it there during the summer, however, since I want it available to ride and my wife and I share a car (I take the train to work) and I would wind up needing a ride to the bike whenever I wanted to ride.

I guess I'm going shed shopping this weekend...

put down some patio stones on the way to your shed from your gate... will save you from muddyness!
