It means that you're acting selfishly and immature and can't see the bigger picture or understand why rules, laws and society are the way they are. The world and life isn't fair. Yes, it sux, but accept it and move on.

If you don't like the laws where you're at - move. That's what any adult would do to change that situation.

If you were here, you'd barely be able to get registered to go to driver's school. Sure, you're 18 and you can take over the world

And if all you're limited to is a "50cc", I know a few motorcycles that are not of the scooter design you could ride. Here, scooters and small cc super efficient and space-saving motorcycles are prevalent for dense city.

Do what you can, finish school and if you need to, find a different hobby to tide you over for your time there. At least, that's what us adults do when we're not where we can have our usual comforts. Have fun and enjoy your time in the UK.

If the law says you can only ride a scoot or a 50cc then deal with it.

You can ride a bigger bike on your own private land or you can wait until you're old enough for the government to deem you responsible enough to ride one.

Riding a bike is like drinking good wine- it gets better with age.

I've never known the U.K. to limit 17 year olds to 50cc, maybe to 125. Maybe it is for your own good because i've seen plenty of 17-18 yr olds dirty themselves on a 250 - 500 cc sports bikes. Learn to walk before you run. As an alternative you can come to America and buy the biggest and baddest just don't blame the bike for the spill.

Gotta be in Germany. As I recall under 18 one is limited to 50cc or less there. You could come to the states. On another board it was reported that a 17 year old here was given a GSX-R1000 for graduation. He'd had no experience on a bike previously. The German government cares maybe too much, the U.S. not enough.

I watched something, I think on the History channel, about how germans have to pay a lot for driving a class and license test. Also any gestures made to others on the road will warrant a ticket and there are rarely any cupholders in their cars so they can concentrate on the road. The US needs to be more responsible but not that far.

Japan is that way too. Very expensive to go to driving school and try to get your license. Funny thing, vehicles here don't have cupholders either!

they dont have cupholders because america is the only country fat enough to mandate a multitude of cupholders in every vehicle.

im having a hard time guessing where this kid is too, who uses the pound but isnt UK?

when i was 16 i had a copy of the Anarchist Cookbook and i knew how to make a simple dumb bomb, how to make good mustard gas and a variety of other illegeal things, and being in any country at any age setting off bombs is gonna get you in a weee bit of trouble.
