My SV won't start unless you have the clutch in. Doesn't matter if it's in neutral or not.

And really the only aboslutely remote, totally not worth it reason I can think of for having a remote start would be if your bike was ONLY a show bike. Would make it so you didn't have to get finger prints or anything on the bike from getting on to start it.
Other than that.....I got nothin

I'm basically with everyone else here. I can't think of a logical reason for a remote start on a bike. On a car in the dead of winter would make sense but not so much on a bike. Sure, it would be cool to stand next to your bike and have it start with a push of a button. But why not use the button that's already attached to your bike(ie: start button). Besides, the "tight" girls might think you are lazy if you can't reach over to turn a key and start the bike manually. :D

since everyone here thinks it's a silly idea, i'm thinking the manufacturers are thinking the same thing.

now, what you could do, is go to a place that sells remote car starters and see if one of the techs there could hook something up for you.

a simple googling could also work for you like this

I'm actually only 26. And I don't think it's gonna make the girls soil their undies. :D You might get a "neat" out of it but not much more. Just my opinion by the way.

As a side note, you could get some of those lighted windshield washer squirters and mount those in the windscreen for a better effect from people. Just the illusion that you have washers on your windscreen would drive people wild.

You know, Neese has a point. If you can't attract the opposite sex with your personality, you need a gimmick.

I am sure there are lot's of girls waiting for that special someone, the one with a remote start bike!

Maybe a Craig's list ad, Single Male looking for that special someone that appreciates remote starting.

I am sure thousands will flock to the ad.

I like bikes. A lot. But give me a tight girl anyday.

Just don't tell my wife.
I would be the old, slow guy. Just let me know where you are going and I'll try to get there before you leave.
