To us pics are more important than you learning to ride, don't be such a friggin selfish person.

I took some pics last night, I will try to upload them when I get off work. Any know any good pic hosts? I don't have any type of image software so it will be hard for me to crop it and resize it so it's not enormous.

www.photobucket.com will as well, and you can upload more then one pic at a time.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

you could also join Flickr and post your bike pics to the (unofficial) TMW group there. Depending on the size of the image they will resize it to 3 or 4 different sizes

Bubble Gum Jr. wrote:I tought I had it all figured out on how to start without stalling. When a couple cars pulled up behind me, I was in the middle of the road so they had to wait for me in order to pass. I felt kind of rushed, so I tried to get my bike started up. I got it ready to go, I released the clutch and it lurched forward like I had released the clutch to fast. But instead of just pullling the clutch to stop it from going forward being some what panicked I released the clutch and pulled on the throttle. The bike shot out from underneath me, I was on the bike for about .5 seconds and then it dropped like 6-7 feet infront of me. The driver behind me came out and asked me if I was hurt, I waved him off and said no, but what I really meant to say was "only my self esteem." It sucked to mess up my first bike but I guess now I know what it's like to pick up the bike. I'm comfortable riding around in the parking lot, but once a car shows up I get very nervous. After that happened I was alot more cautious almost to the point where I kept stalling the bike because I was afraid it would happen again.
I know the feeling  I just started riding my first bike today, '99 GS500. I felt pretty confident initially, the throttle control lessons from the MSF course I took last month started coming back- but as we progressed into more traffic filled areas I lost my nerve. Luckily no drops but I racked myself bad on one stall :frusty:
