Learner Permit in Florida

If I get a learner permit in Florida, how long is it good for? Ie, how long can i use it until I have to take the test? And if I don't take the test after that period, can I renew it?

In Michigan our permits are good for 180 days and we can apply for another one if needed.

In Florida a learners permit is good for 90 days, but can be renewed 5 times, if you don't mind standing in the DMV all day.
