I have a Suzuki GZ250 and have found that I don't really care for the sound of the muffler after drilling the baffle. As a result, I've decided to install one of the EMGO universal mufflers. Plus, I like the look of the EMGO turnout style muffler versus the megaphone style that comes stock on the GZ250.
The problem is that the EMGO's are designed to fit on 1 1/2 or 1 3/4 inch pipes and the GZ250 has pipes smaller than that. I don't know exactly how big they are but I would guess they are around an inch to an inch and a quarter. I've seen plenty of reducers for mufflers but I was wondering if anyone knows of something that would be able to slip onto my pipes to make them bigger so that the EMGO will fit.
If I can't find anything I can always take a short piece of galvanized pipe, cut it longways and weld that to the exhaust pipe to fatten it up, but if there is something out there to fatten up my existing pipe it would be A LOT easier.
Thanks for any info.
