From the Great White North

#1 Unread post by FrznTriGeek »

Hi to everyone from the great white north, aka Edmonton. I'm a newly minted rider, in the process of buying a first bike. Looking at a Kawasaki Vulcan 800, or a Marauder 800. After that, maybe some groups to ride with. Any Edmonton club members out there? I'll be active in here & post pics when I finally get me a ride. Ciao.

Check this out: viewtopic.php?p=106025#106025

and even if you don't have your bike yet - try to come out to the U on Sunday at 11 am just to say hi & meet a bunch of us. You can also check out a bunch of bikes there too! We'd love to meet you! :)
Ya right, there are only 2 kinds of bikes: It's a Ninja... look that one's a Harley... oh there's a Ninja... Harley...Ninja...

Hiya, we're in the process of setting up TMW group rides in Edmonton, so stay in touch.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Good to see a bunch of Oiler fans residing in the forum! I'm not sure if I'll be able to come out on sunday or not (work might raise its ugly head). Going out tonight to look at a bike in Vegreville, and if l like it, somehow figure out how to get it home from there.

Definitely game for a ride in the future, though & would love to hook up.

I'm also from E-Town and currently ride a 2004 Marauder [VZ800]. This is my 3rd season on it and it's been marvelous to me. Check out the link KarateChick left to hook up with us for sure.

Glad to hear you like your Suzuki, mainly 'cause I just bought a 2003. I'm coming out with y'all on Sat night for a ride. BTW -- I think that BubbaGump has the best Avatar ever! Ciao
