flynrider: Thanks for the support. I think we're in the same boat. I've gotten so tired of taking the carbs off my bike to clean them(5 times now!!) just to get the right bank on my twin firing. What a pain. Maybe I just complain too much?

Sounds like multiple carbs isn't really your problem. Why would you have to keep removing and cleaning carbs in the first place? You should not have to. How do you store your bike? What is the condition of your tank's interior. Do you have inline filters in place? Are the needles and jets correct and in good condition in both carbs?
Taking them off for cleaning that often does not make sense, better to find the source of the problem and fix it. What would prevent you from having to repeatedly clean the single carb?
I have six carbs on my Valkyrie that work just fine.
Well, the source of my problem was a dirty carb which is why I had to clean it 5 times. It's fixed now. But that's not entirely the idea of doing 1 carb. "Think forced induction".

I thought it might have something to do with forced induction when you started this...... though to be fair, the same effort it would take, no, much less effort actually, would be to create a manifold to split the air from the turbo/supercharger. I would imagine a turbo would be easier to set up on this.

Yeah I'm a bit of a boost head and prefer to build smaller engines under boost. It's a lot of fun to be the underdog. The manifold part of it would be easy; I'm not worried about that at all. Just a little worried about the carb. I originally planned on FI but that is just way too expensive for this build.
