To be fair, you *did* remove the smiley face he had in the original post.

He was just kidding.

The man's got a point...

Just the other day I paid a check up visit to my orthopedic surgeon and the two other people there were cops (one in uniform the other not) getting a check up, too.

Had a nice little conversation about our respective accidents and got some good advice. They were surprised that a 17 year old like myself had already been run over...

Boy... what a surprising remark coming from the fly.
We're the first ones to starve
We're the first ones to die
The first ones in line for that pie in the sky
But we're always the last
When the gravy's shared out
For the worker is working when the fat cat's about

People would be advised to respect MY opinion if they want me to respect theirs.

And as I have said proxima ad nauseum, I am not slamming ALL cops.
Kudos to good cops with an objective sense of judgement, justice as their first goal, and strong but kind hearts.

I don't see enough of that kind but I know they exist.
Trouble is the combination of meager salaries the cops get paid and the insufficiently comprehensive psychological screenings given candidates, means that a lot of slimeballs are gonna get through... petty cops, dumb cops, angry cops, greedy cops, violent cops, etc.
I mean, when you offer a position where you have a gun and near carte-blanche use of it, where a police department will cover potential misdeeds, you are bound to get the type of people who would use such opportunities to the fullest.

So anyone who thinks I'm anti-law-enforcement, or hate cops, remove your head from your evacuatory regions and read what I have to say.

Rage against the Machine I Fly, Rage against that machine!
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Ooooooo.... big words!! If I don't respect your opinion, watcha gonna do? Call me names??

Sonny, when you call a police officer "pig", and advocate he should be shot, i.e. when you advocate mayhem against police officers (or anyone else for that matter), you're going to rub nerves. You won't get any slack from me, or from a lot of other people here, as long as you keep doing it. It's happened twice, you seem to be kind of a slow learner in that regard, or maybe you just enjoy receiving the abuse. Whatever.

Or maybe, just maybe, Mensa-member, I don't really care what some a$$clowns on a messageboard think or type to me.

When a cop earns the title of "pig" I will call them such.
If they don't, I won't.
When a cop does something to deserve draconian reprisal, I will say so.

If you can't handle it, I advise calling your ISP and asking them ever so kindly to cancel your subscription because you're too much of a wuss to handle other opinions.

I'd be very upset if Si got himself shot, stabbed, whatever...

I have an idea because I think the point has been reached where this is goin nowhere. The rest of us stop baiting you everytime a police related thread goes up and you take it as read that the rest of us know how you feel about Police Officers.

I'm happy to handle opposing opinions. I love a good debate! Unfortunately, Fly, you don't have an opinion. All you do is express hatred and resentment, and call people names when you can't think of anything else to say.

Just for the variety of it, let's talk about motorcycles instead.
