Well...
Well...
I rode out on the streets for the first time today. I had been practicing in my driveway for the past couple days getting used to the controls. So tonight I took it up and down the road I live on. Then I decided to take it for a longer ride. Rode to work to show all my coworkers. Only got about an hour of riding in cause it started to get dark and since I only have my temps I can't be riding at night.

Good job bud! That's how I started riding. Found myself a big school parking lot and practiced for a while and before i knew it I was a few hundred miles away from home having the time of my life. just stay focused and practice and you'll do fine. There are alot more cars are there today (bikes too) then when I started so keep an eye on them. If it looks like they could do something stupid chances are they will.

you should find somebody to ride with. its safer out there when ur riding in a group of other bikes, blind old ladies driving old buicks may see a group of bikes better than one bike, its getting crazy out there, everytime I take my bike out I get at least one close call where someone wants to run me down, I even have to stop at green lights, just be very carefull out there

Are you sure they aren't all people from these forums?MotoF150 wrote:blind old ladies driving old buicks... its getting crazy out there, everytime I take my bike out I get at least one close call where someone wants to run me down

It's a great feeling, isn't it?! Keep practicing lots of technique. It just gets better and better all the time. Enjoy!!jacob wrote:I rode out on the streets for the first time today.
