#1 Post by Brent » Sat Jun 17, 2006 7:28 am

I have to wear my glasses all the time. I would like sunglasses in the day, clear at night that I can wear over my glasses(NOT GOGGLES) that I can also wear wearing my helmet. Anything like that exist?

Clip-ons for you regular glasses?
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?

I think you can get prescription glasses that automatically adjust for lighting. I saw it on a commercial once.

www.wileyx.com makes sunglasses with presciption lenses, and you can get transitionals from them too.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Yeah, you can get ones that auto-darken. My dad has them.

Transitions and prescription sunglasses are very expensive. I suggest just riding with the lens shut and getting clip-ons or a tinted lens and just switch out if you plan on riding at night. But that's just me.

My Dad has reacta-light glasses (same as transition lenses I think) for a long time. He got them because he didnt want to faff around between glasses all the time when driving.

Anyway, yes they are more expensive but Dad swore by them for the first couple of years and now they've been a part of his standard prescription for so long he dosnt even think about them.
